Lopwell Dam SUP & Yoga Retreat

Spend the weekend off the beaten track/water! You will be hosted by the SWSUP team for 2 days and 2 nights of SUP coaching/guiding and general adventures at the secluded Lopwell Barn. Whatever your level, from complete beginner to regular paddler, we will bring on your skills with a maximum ratio of 1 Instructor to 5 paddlers. With direct access to the river Tavy for perfect SUP conditions and journeys, we will also head out onto nearby Dartmoor National Park for hiking and mountain biking when the tide is out!

What to expect:
Arrive and settle in to Lopwell Barn bunkhouse. We will have exclusive use of all facilities at the bunkhouse and your stay will be fully catered. After a sunset SUP, spend the evening around the fire pit getting to know the SWSUP crew.
Early morning yoga session on the lawn overlooking the river followed by breakfast at the barn. Then as the tide drops we will head out for a land based adventure; hiking or mountain biking in the stunning Dartmoor national park. In the afternoon, we will return to Lopwell for a SUP coaching session, developing your skills and safety knowledge. This will be followed by an evening SUP journey to Bere Ferrers. This is a beautiful journey, with a chance to grab a drink at The Olde Plough Inn before we journey back to Lopwell.
Another morning yoga session to refresh and invigorate. After breakfast we will head out onto the water for a secluded and unique SUP journey that is one of SWSUP’s favourites – all details of this one we keep close to our chest! We will return to the barn around lunchtime leaving those who have travelled from further afield time to pack up and others an opportunity to relax and reflect on a wonderful weekend.

Kit list
All SUP, mountain biking and yoga equipment will be provided, including wetsuits if required. All food and drink is provided (bring your own beverage)Please bring:
SUP suitable clothing (board shorts and t-shirt) x 3
Waterproof top such as a light rain jacket
Sleeping bag
Long legged trousers for hiking
Outdoor trainers / shoes / boots
Warm fleece / jacket for evenings by the fire
